APO week 6 blog post

Hey everyone! for this weeks blog post, I thought it would be cool to talk about one of the organizations that we work closely with, Committed Partners for Youth,Big brother/big sister. This is their informational video, that talks about the work that they do, and the impact they have onĀ  our community.

Questions:

1. Do you think people our age understand the impact that we can have on a child’s life?

2. What does a support system like this do for our community?

3. Why do you think with a campus of over 20,000 people, there is still a waiting list of over 80 kids looking for mentors? Does that say something about the culture of our campus and helping people? or is it a lack of knowledge combined with a lack of outreach by CPFYBBS?

Remeber, our project in two weeks at the truffle shuffle is with Committed Partners for Youth, Big Brother/Big Sister. If you haven’t already, you should sign up!

In Leadership, Friendship, and Service,
